Inside the Towers
The Petronas Twin Towers are more than office buildings — they anchor an entire world of culture, commerce, nature, and discovery.

The Corporate Citadels
Tower 1 houses the global headquarters of PETRONAS, Malaysia's national petroleum corporation, occupying approximately 60% of the building's 218,000 square metres. Tower 2 hosts an international roster of corporate tenants including Bloomberg, Accenture, and Al Jazeera's regional bureau. Together, the towers provide nearly 400,000 square metres of premium office space, making them one of Southeast Asia's most prestigious corporate addresses. The lobby of each tower is a cathedral-like space clad in marble and stainless steel, designed to convey institutional gravitas without sacrificing warmth.
Suria KLCC
Rising six levels at the base of the towers, Suria KLCC is not merely a shopping mall — it is the social heart of the KLCC precinct. Over 350 retail outlets range from international luxury houses (Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Tiffany) to beloved Malaysian brands and artisan workshops. The food court levels are a gastronomic tour of Southeast Asia: Penang char kway teow, Sarawak laksa, Thai som tum, and Japanese ramen coexist in a vibrant culinary marketplace. Annual footfall exceeds 40 million visitors, making Suria KLCC one of the most visited retail destinations in the region.
Dewan Filharmonik Petronas
Nestled at the base of the towers is one of Southeast Asia's finest concert halls — a 920-seat venue whose acoustics rival the great European concert houses. Home to the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), the Dewan Filharmonik hosts over 200 performances annually, ranging from classical symphonic programmes to jazz, world music, and educational outreach concerts. The shoebox-shaped hall, designed by Kirkegaard Associates, features mahogany acoustic panelling and adjustable reverberation time. It stands as perhaps the most unexpected treasure within the towers' complex.
Petrosains Discovery Centre
Spanning 7,000 square metres across two levels of Suria KLCC, Petrosains is an interactive science discovery centre that brings Malaysia's petroleum heritage and scientific principles to life through immersive exhibits. Operated by PETRONAS, the centre features a dark ride through a simulated oil platform, hands-on physics demonstrations, and digital interactive galleries on renewable energy and space exploration. Over one million visitors annually — predominantly school groups and families — make Petrosains one of Kuala Lumpur's most popular educational attractions.
KLCC Park
Designed by legendary Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, the 50-acre KLCC Park is a tropical garden paradise at the foot of the towers. A 1.3-hectare lake hosts nightly choreographed fountain shows, while jogging paths wind through mature plantings of Meranti, Tembusu, and tropical palms that have grown into a genuine urban canopy over 25 years. The children's playground and wading pool draw families, while early-morning tai chi practitioners and evening joggers create a daily rhythm of public life. The park proves that world-class urbanism need not sacrifice nature.
Aquaria KLCC
Located beneath the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre within the KLCC precinct, Aquaria KLCC is a 60,000-square-foot oceanarium featuring over 5,000 aquatic and land-based creatures across 150 species. The centrepiece is a 90-metre underwater tunnel that passes through a living reef ecosystem with sharks, rays, and sea turtles gliding overhead. Themed zones progress from Malaysian freshwater habitats through mangrove ecosystems to the open ocean, providing both entertainment and ecological education. The facility serves as a conservation partner for several marine species breeding programmes.
